WHAT IS NOT COLLECTED

No name, no email, no IP address, no account, no payment details. The free downloads have no email gate. There is nothing here that identifies you personally, and nothing that could be handed over as a list of people.

THE COOKIE

If you press Accept, one first-party cookie called che_vid is stored for a year. It holds a random identifier and nothing else. Its only job is to tell a returning visitor apart from a new one, so a hundred visits by one person do not read as a hundred people.

If you press Decline, nothing is stored on your device at all. The visit still counts as a page view using a random number that is forgotten the moment you leave, so the totals stay honest while you stay anonymous.
